Halesworth Volunteer Centre has been working in Halesworth and the surrounding villages for over thirty years and has built up a wealth of local knowledge. As a small organisation we are flexible enough to adapt as the needs of the community change; we respond to individual requests for help and work closely with other local organisations and statutory bodies to deliver our objectives.
If you would like to use any of our volunteer operated services then please contact us or drop into our office in London Road. From the office, we operate a community car service and befriending services. We can also put you in touch with other volunteering organisations in the local area who can help in other ways.
If you are interested in volunteering and have a few hours to spare, we would be delighted to hear from you. We also provide a volunteering brokerage service for local community groups and projects.
If you are interested in recruiting volunteers, then we can help your organisation to recruit volunteers through our quarterly newsletter, website and Resource Centre. We can conduct initial interviews with prospective volunteers to ensure they are matched to a suitable placement.
